Here's a Calstar 800ML I just got done twisting this up for the captain of The New Gravy out of Half Moon Bay. This is the first basket weave handle I've ever done and I definitely learned that I should do something to keep the cords that makeup the "basket" parallel with the blank. Other than that, I think this rod came out pretty nice. The colors match the boat pretty dead on and I think he'll get a lot of years out of this stick.
